After 7 months of waiting for the huge container to arrive, which was shipped by the contractor, it finally was delivered to the job site. It had a pickup and small front loader in it, as well as building supplies. It also had 6 cartons of food we had shipped over.
It turned out that the "Customs" department went through everything... and if the expiration date was anytime over the following 6 months, the food got pulled and was not shipped. None of us had any idea that would happen, so we were sad to have important things, like a half gallon of coconut syrup from the Collins from Hawaii, not arrive. However, we were thrilled to get some of these other important items!
Oh no! So sad about the syrup!!
