Back to Blogging! Ed's Morning Welcome

Our sweet daughter, Charise, has reminded us that she feels that she is missing out on what is happening on our mission.  We post some things on our Family Group Chats, and some things on Instagram and Facebook.  However, Lani reminded us that if we do emails or a blog... we have a complete journal of what is actually happening on this amazing mission.  Therefore, I am going to start to blog again.  We hope that our children will share some of these things with our grandchildren, so they will feel like they are sharing our mission.

One of my favorite parts of the day happens at 7:30 on the job site.  Every morning he conducts a prayer meeting.  Every morning he starts by going around the circle and he welcomes each person with a hug or a handshake.  He lets then know they are an important part of the job.  It is a fun experience as he cracks his "interesting" jokes and teases them.  It is an enjoyable time for all of us. (On Mondays we dress up because we have a special "Devotional" that lasts about 25 minutes, instead of the regular prayer meeting.  Ed's interpreter, named Daddy, follows close behind him.)  Ed is even remembering most of their names most of the time.   I am very proud of him!
