Another good experience in Yaoundé, worth writing about, was playing on their golf course... twice. It was a beautiful, lush tropical course with lots of trees... even if the greens were very marginal. The course had many ups and downs... and no carts. (However, a caddy was required for $10.)
It had gorgeous views.
Another interesting note about the course ... there was a path across the fairways that allowed the local people to cross to go get their water and haul it back to their humble homes.
It was great fun to golf again!
