Goodbyes... and Welcome Home!



  What a mixture of strong emotions!!! 

THE PAINS OF LEAVING... We left the Congo on December 19th, 2011.  We said goodbye to our precious Congolese friends. To name a few...

THE EXCITEMENT OF RETURNING...We got off the plane in Washington D.C.  to be greeted by Chuck and Ashley and their 3 sweethearts...



Then moving on to Mitzi's North Carolina  neighborhood and house with hundreds of yellow ribbons and balloons (Thanks Char) ...

and the nativity with our favorite cast for Christmas Eve!



 After a quick stop in Salt Lake, to see Mom & Dad in the rest home, we headed for our Home in Irvine to be greeted by our good friend Sue Ward, with our kids Tiffany, Ryan, Brooklyn and our newest grandchild... Baby Zelda.

Again... so many strong emotions!!!!
