We recently had the opportunity to go with a group to take some clothes and school supplies to a small orphanage in town. The woman who is in charge of the orphanage and children is a Mormon and an absolute angel! The children were thrilled to have visitors. Upon our arrival, the children all ran behind the small building and came out carrying little blue stools. The lined up and sat down and smiled at us, with their very best behaviour. Our hearts melted and the magic began.
We were there with the mission president and his wife, President and Sister Cook. Sister Cook taught them "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes". Then I taught them the Hokey Pokey!
Ed immediately bonded with this darling little boy. If you look closely, you will see that one leg is much shorter than the other. Walking is difficult for him. He held Ed's hand most of the time we were there.

We hated to leave. We took a group photo with them (and probably a few neighborhood children) and then finally said good-bye. To say I was ready to pack a few of them into my suitcase, is putting it mildly.
Oh my word! That photo of the little boy holding dad's hand is priceless! So cute!
