Our July 4, 2013

 

What a strange 4^th of July… we celebrated with a dinner at one of the senior couples’ apartments (The Bybees).  The Moon’s (another senior couple) couldn’t be with us because Elder Moon (a retired tabernacle choir member) was invited to sing the national anthem at the American Embassy party for Congolese dignitaries.  Elder Bybee filmed Elder Moon at dress rehearsal on July 3^rd.  For our 4^th of July dinner we started with singing the national anthem, along with Elder Moon’s video.  We are soooooooo grateful to be Americans!
